Gitanjali Home Stay

Located at the foot of the Chamundi hills, is our serene and tranquil homestay.

Your hosts Dalu, Muthu and Yamuna Achaiah are a Kodava family who have settled down in Mysore.

At their home you will experience a taste of authentic Kodava cuisine and culture.

The Kodavas are a martial race with a tradition of ancestor worship.

They have a unique culture of their own very different from other Indians.

Four charming rooms with luxurious attached bathrooms overlook a wide verandah, perfect for relaxing.

Surrounded by a cheerful country garden, soothing greenery and the chirping of birds, one would never imagine that we are barely 5 km from the heart of the city.
