Jammu & Kashmir
was established in 1983 as the only Trekking Agency and Traveller's equipment
shop in India.
Since
1989 Choomti Travellers,
the travel division of Choomti Trekkers Pvt. Ltd.,
now based in New Delhi,
has been specialising in providing a very personal travel service for individual
travellers throughout India.
Simon
Bazeley, after
having served in the British army for 18 years, came to India in
1981 as
Save
the Children Fund's Field Director for 3½
years, stayed on and is the Managing Director of Choomti
Travellers.
V. O.
Varughese,
from Kerala,
an Engineer by profession, having worked with the Government of India and a
Diplomatic Mission for more than 20 years,
is also a Director of Choomti
Travellers.
Charles
Erskine,
a Marine
Radiotelecommunications
Technician
by profession, based in Bristol
in the United Kingdom,

Webmaster and Head of IT of
